1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Trackflow (the "App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. App Description

Trackflow is a personal finance tracker and expense management application designed to help users:

• Track expenses and income transactions
• Manage budgets and financial goals
• Store receipt images securely
• Import and export financial data
• Gain insights into spending patterns
• Maintain financial records completely offline

3. Age Requirements

Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years old to use Trackflow.

Parental Consent: Users between 13 and 18 years of age must have parental or guardian consent to use this App.

4. Offline Functionality

Complete Offline Operation

Trackflow is designed to function entirely offline. All your financial data is stored locally on your device. The App does not require an internet connection to operate.

No Server Communication

We do not upload, sync, or transmit your data to any external servers or cloud services. Your data remains exclusively on your device.

Internet Permission

Purpose: Internet permission is included in the app for planned future AI-powered insight features. Currently Trackflow functions entirely offline and no internet connection is used or required for any existing feature.

Data handling: No user data is transmitted over the internet at this time.

5. User Account and Data

One Account Per Device

Trackflow allows the creation of only one user account per device. This is a security measure to protect your financial data.

Account Information

When you create an account, you provide:

• Full name
• Email address
• Password
• Security questions and answers
• Recovery code

All this information is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server.

Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• Safeguarding your recovery code
• Remembering your security question answers
• All activities that occur under your account

6. Data Backup and Recovery

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for backing up your data. We strongly recommend creating regular backups using the App's backup feature.

Data Loss

Trackflow and its developer (Vipul Patel) are not responsible for any data loss resulting from:

• Device malfunction or damage
• App uninstallation without backup
• Operating system updates or resets
• Lost or forgotten passwords, recovery codes, or security answers
• Database corruption

Password Recovery

Password recovery requires:

• Correct answers to both security questions
• Valid recovery code

If you lose all recovery options, your data cannot be recovered as we have no access to it.

7. Financial Insights and Recommendations

Any insights, recommendations, or financial analysis provided by the App:

• Are for informational purposes only
• Should not be considered professional financial advice
• Are based solely on the data you input
• May not account for your complete financial situation

Important: For major financial decisions, always consult qualified financial advisors, accountants, or legal professionals.

8. Data Privacy and Storage

Local Storage Only

All your data remains exclusively on your device. We do not collect, store, access, or transmit any of your personal or financial information.

Your Control

You maintain complete control over your data, including the ability to:

• Export data to Excel format
• Create encrypted backup files
• Delete all data permanently
• Transfer data between your devices using backup files

9. App Permissions

Trackflow may request the following device permissions:

Storage Permission

Required for:

• Saving transaction data and receipt images
• Creating and restoring backup files
• Importing bank statements (Excel format)
• Exporting transaction data

Camera Permission

Required for:

• Capturing receipt photos to attach to transactions

Biometric Permission

Optional, used for:

• Fingerprint or face recognition authentication
• App lock security

All permissions are used strictly for local functionality. No data collected through these permissions is ever transmitted externally.

10. App Features

Trackflow provides the following features:

• Add, edit, and delete income and expense transactions
• Attach receipt photos to transactions
• Categorize transactions with custom categories
• Quick action buttons for frequently used entries

Budget and Goal Tracking

• Create and monitor budgets based on spending patterns
• Set and track financial goals
• Receive insights on budget performance

Account Management

• Track multiple bank accounts
• Monitor cash on hand
• View consolidated financial overview

Data Import/Export

• Import bank statements in Excel format
• Export transactions for any date range to Excel
• Create encrypted backup files
• Restore data from backup files

Security Features

• Biometric authentication (fingerprint/face)
• PIN code protection
• Hidden balance feature with calculator disguise
• Encrypted backups with password protection

Customization

• Multi-currency support (INR, USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, CAD)
• Dark mode
• Custom categories and subcategories

11. User Responsibilities

As a Trackflow user, you agree to:

• Provide accurate financial information for your personal use
• Keep your password, recovery code, and security answers secure
• Regularly back up your data to prevent loss
• Ensure your device has adequate security (screen lock, encryption)
• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vipul Patel (the developer) and Trackflow shall not be liable for:

Financial Losses

• Any financial losses or damages arising from use of the App
• Decisions made based on App insights or recommendations
• Errors or inaccuracies in calculations or analysis

Data Loss

• Loss of data due to device failure, corruption, or user error
• Inability to recover data due to lost passwords or recovery codes
• Data loss from app uninstallation without proper backup

Technical Issues

• App crashes, bugs, or malfunctions
• Incompatibility with certain devices or OS versions
• Performance issues or unexpected behavior

Third-Party Actions

• Unauthorized access to your device or data
• Device theft, loss, or damage

Use the App at your own risk. We recommend maintaining regular backups and exercising caution with your financial data.

13. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Trackflow, including but not limited to:

• Software code and architecture
• User interface and design
• Graphics, logos, and icons
• Text and documentation

Are owned by Vipul Patel and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

14. App Updates and Modifications

Updates

We may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or add new features. Updates may be delivered through the Google Play Store.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time without prior notice.

Backward Compatibility

While we strive to maintain backward compatibility, we cannot guarantee that future updates will support all features or data from previous versions.

15. Termination

Your Right to Terminate

You may stop using Trackflow at any time by uninstalling the App from your device. We recommend creating a backup before uninstallation if you wish to preserve your data.

Effect of Termination

Upon uninstallation:

• All locally stored data will be permanently deleted from your device
• You will lose access to all transactions, budgets, goals, and receipts unless backed up
• These Terms and Conditions will no longer apply to you

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms or use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gujarat, India.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated terms.

Material changes will be communicated through:

• App update notifications
• This webpage (check the "Last Updated" date)

Your continued use of Trackflow after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Trackflow regarding the use of the App.
